Cryptocurrency mining companies
are expanding
their operations in Sweden
Hive Digital Technologies announced the acquisition of
a data centre in Sweden to expand its operations.
The company aims to
host ASIC servers and increase bitcoin production.
On November 27th
The company announced a transfer agreement with Torres ABB to acquire
the property of a former data center in Boden, Sweden, as part of
the "EU Horizon 2020" project.
Haif asserted that the new centre was located near
its current data centre in Sweden and intended to
further develop the facility as part of its portfolio.
The new hub
will host the Australian Securities
and Investment Authority's next generation servers
and increase bitcoin production.

The new data centre acquired is green
powered
and aims to
promote energy efficiency and achieve sustainable practices.
Earlier this year, the company removed
the word "blockchain" from its official name
Focusing on artificial intelligence
computing and GPUs as future financial opportunities.
The company plans to use INFIDIA GPUs to
provide a more efficient alternative to cloud service providers.
Despite
the shift towards artificial intelligence
Hive's CEO
and Chairman confirmed that they do not ignore
or underestimate :
the importance of bitcoin mining and other cryptocurrencies.
They consider that :
advanced technologies such as blockchain
and artificial intelligence can coexist well
and contribute to the advancement of Web 3.
